Any using bias pedal box ??

Postby BigDave » Tue Sep 11, 2012 1:09 pm

Just wondering what thickness of steel your brake pedal is made from?

I was informed that mine being of 6mm plate does not comply with the regs. So I just bit the bullet and made a new one with 8mm steel.

What do you folks reckon??

Cheers

I'm just using modified standard ones. 6mm sounds fine to me but 8mm sounds OTT

Compliance fella spoke with LTSA (or who ever they are called now) and they say that it has to be a minimum of 8mm on the brake pedal. Mine is all chopped and swapped now. Its meaty as hell..!
